:: BRONCHITIS

Bronchitis, the acute inflammation of the respiratory system, is generally caused by complications of a cold or flu, but is more common among smokers or those exposed to pollution. It has long been treated with a combination of oral doses of neem leaf tea twice a day along with inhaling the steam of boiled neem leaves. The steam will contain volatile oils and aromatic compounds that, when inhaled, will reduce the inflammation and attack the disease agents directly. The oral doses of neem will provide the entire body with fever-reducing and disease-fighting compounds.
In experiments with cattle, when neem oil is included in the feed the number of lung infections is significantly decreased when compared to the control group.
